Be Purposeful
I’ve invested the past 16 years of my life into storytelling. I love what I do and my commitment to proper storytelling is my passion. If not on set for clients or my own personal projects, I’m on set with the youth and guiding them towards their goals of being great storytellers.
You can always do better.
Every project is an opportunity
I hate when people ask what my “favorite project” was. I think every project holds value for me. Even projects that seem menial have potential to for learning something. It may not always be in regards to process or storytelling or even technical mastery, it could be in relationship building or business development.
I value my co-workers, I respect my clients and I focus on the audience. I think it’s fine to disagree with content, those healthy discussions create the best products. So long as we always agree on the process, we will be successful.
I am willing to do what ever it takes, even things outside of my job description if it means a better product. I don’t expect others to do the same, I understand not everyone is as committed as committed as me. But as long as we’re all bringing something to the table, we will make something great together.
